Yes, saunas are excellent for improving the detox pathways, it is one of

the recommended treatments for improving them. Especially the far-infrared

saunas.

You don't have to have the warm/hot water to do the salt loading. As far

as I can tell that's just to dissolve the salt. It really doesn't have

anything to do with starting urination that I can figure. In any case, I

take my unrefined salt in water from the filter on the tap, and it works

fine to alleviate the bromide detox symptoms.

I've had a handful of cherry angiomas my whole life. My dad had them too so I

figure they were inherited. I still have the same 5 or 6 that I was born with

except for a little one on my face that I had lasered.

Not the daily salt amount that is the normal companion supplement for the

iodine protocol. But salt loading, which is done in response to detox

symptoms and where you add extra salt and lots of water with the intent of

causes urination to wash the bromides out of the body that have been let

loose by the iodine and are causing the symptoms. Do you understand the

difference? This difference causes a lot of confusion.

Hi ,THNX for trying to explain...but I'm embarrassed to say that,NO ... I don't think I quite get what you mean. What I thought (from what I read in the initial material that was emailed)was that you can take salt - 1/2 teaspoon per day with warm/hot waterwhen taking iodine. And you need only do it for the first 2-3 days. And this is meant to combinewith toxins like bromide and escort it out of the body.Is that not right?THNX again!!!Jacq. <CHERRY ANGIOMAS, as I have quite a few and came across this......>

Asked my MD/acupuncturist to test me for iodine deficiency, even though all lab

tests are OK, because of cherries, which I've had for many years and also

thyroid nodule (5 yrs).

After kinesiology testing he wrote rx for iodine.

No, there are 2 uses of salt in the protocol.1. Salt is a companion nutrient you need to take every day.2. Salt LOADING is EXTRA salt you take when you get uncomfortable detox symptoms.AnneOn Aug 16, 2011, at 12:39 AM, jcd in es wrote:

You need to take 1/2 tsp or more celtic or other unprocessed (REAL, Himalayan, etc) salt per day (DAILY) as a part of the companions and liberally salt foods.  Bromide " detox " is not a one shot deal.  We are constantly exposed to more bromide, and we have years and years worth of build up in our systems.  It takes time and patience to get on top of it.

If you are having uncomfortable bromide detox symptoms there is ADDITIONAL salt loading which helps move more of the bromide through the system.  Loading is not done daily.  I do not think the salt needs to be mixed with warm water.  I toss a half tsp in the back of my mouth and chase it with a glass of water.  Works well for me.  I liberally salt my food.  I love the celtic sea salt.  It is yummy.
