Hi Everyone!

Well, I didn't buy the Celtic salt as I didn't want to purchase it online.

I went to a health food store and bought a product called Real Salt,

it comes from a mine in Utah. I had a lengthy conversation with the owner and

he explained that he would not carry Celtic salt as he claims it costs $40.00 a

lb,be wet and some suppliers are selling under the name but not the quality.

Anway, it comes down to I don't know if I can do this! I've kept up with the

posts and do not remember any commenting on just how salty real salt is!

Disgusting! Now, I never felt as though I over did salt but would be a fair

amount on my food. I suppose after purchasing Real Salt, what I had been

putting on my food was a combination of salt & anti=caking agent....more

emphasis on the anti-caking agent.

The Real Salt is from Redmond Trading Co. I paid $6.92 for 26oz. It will take

me a while to use this as it is truly way too salty for me!

Anyone else find it disgusting?

Sandy

I am laughing! When I started taking Celtic Salt I was so amazed at how salty it was. Now I eat it out of the dipping cups I keep on the table. You will get used to it but yes it is a big change. Just take is slowly. Start by using it liberally on your food. You will find that what you cook has such an enhanced flavor! Real Salt is great salt. I met one of the reps at a medical conf I attended last year. They gave me quite a few samples to try and their bath salt can be eaten too!

As for typical salt. It is cleaned with a chloride brine, stripped of minerals and yes and anticaking agent is added. :( Blah!
