Kidney failure, iodine safe for?

I have put a proper subject line on this email so that people know what

it's about:

Hi,

Can anyone tell me if iodine is helpful for kidney failure?

My mom is in Stage 4 renal failure and I am looking for

anything that can help her. She won’t stop taking any meds the

Docs put her on but I have gotten her to start taking systemic enzymes

and heart and body extract. These seem to be making her feel some better

and she hasn’t been on them long. We can’t take the chance of whatever she

takes making her swell though.

Are you taking the salt daily and salt loading when you feel bad? Maybe

those days the toxins are building up more and you need extra help to clear

them out.

- 3, but felt terrible on day 4. I am taking all the companion nutrients

and it was suggested that I up my Vit C from 1,000IUs to 2,000IUs, which I

did and I did feel better by day 5. I felt so good that I increased the

Iodoral to 25mg this Monday and again I felt great on days 1 - 3 but today,

day 4, I feel terrible.

Should I increase the Vit C to 3,000IUs or might it be something else?

I love Celtic Sea Salt and have it in a little bowl on my counter. I add it to

my food and munch on pinches as I pass it. I'll try salt loading also.

Another good product. I took another Vitamin C a few hours ago and am actually

starting to feel better. I may soon be taking 6000IUs, too.

I am very happy for you. I had a hysterectomy years ago because mine was

chock full of fibroids too, and I also had breast pain monthly. I have read

within the last year that iodine could do that, make your fibroids go away

and reduce the pain too. Wish I had known about it then. Carol

you can get it also without prescription,but you have to join the group to

The energy is fairly common, & people who experience it do better taking

their iodine in the morning (as you have observed.) Some of us are not

blessed to get the energy. SIGH!

Actually, I think the vaseline might keep the iodine from EVAPORATING. They

say that most of topical iodine is lost to evaporation...

Of course, vaseline is made with petroleum, so I would prefer to find

something more healthful to use...
