Here are some tips about posting, these are not directed at anyone in

particular but are some things to keep in mind that are your responsibility

and which will make it more likely that your questions will be recognized

and answered:

Make sure that you've read the New Member document and that your questions

are expansions off that information and not a request to spoon feed basic

information that is already organized and available. We do not have time to

answer those same questions over and over again-- they are already

answered. Also, highly recommend Dr Brownstein's book on Iodine as it

covers a whole lot more very common questions, is a very easy read, and is

deeply reassuring about the safety of iodine.

If people post lab results without the ranges, it can't be

interpreted. Also just FYI, I () personally do not answer

questions about lab results because I'm not well enough educated on the

topic. So there aren't very many people who have that information to offer.

Make sure the subject line accurately reflects your question. If your

subject line doesn't make it clear what your question is, or if you don't

change the subject line and it looks like another post on an existing

thread, it can and will easily get lost.

Keep your emails simple, one or two questions at a time. If emails are too

long and require too much time to attempt to address, it will tend to get

shuffled off to that mythical time when there is more time to spend.

If you find your question has fallen through the cracks, re-post it after a

few days with a note that you're re-posting. But please wait a few days,

and please don't take it personally.

We're all just imperfect beings like everyone else here, trying to earn our

livings and deal with energy and health challenges. Steph is starting her

practice as an ND. Most people in her position would not even attempt to

perform the work that she does here on this list. I personally find it

overwhelming on a regular basis, and I have fewer demands on my time than

she does.

Steph and the moderators all regret when someone feels ignored, and please

know that it is *not* personal-- it's that some combination of the above

considerations has caused the email to fall through the cracks.

And once again I want to thank everyone who contributes to this list with

their hard-won knowledge. This list couldn't exist without all of the

contributors, you are very important and are doing important work here.

Thank you for your time and attention. There are more than 5300 members of

this list.
