Guest guest
I posted this last weekend but it didn't actually show up so I'm trying again! I'm taking a supplement prescribed by my naturopath, called `Thyroplex'. I'm wondering if anyone has used this and found it helpful, or if anyone can tell me if they think it's worthwhile, based on the ingredients – I have no idea what recommended doses would be, and if this is no use, I would rather spend the money on something that is! I take 2 tabs a day and each one contains: Iodine (as potassium iodide 190ug) 145ug Selenium (as selenomethionine 124ug) 50ug Zinc (as amino acid chelate 50mg) 10mg Tyrosine 500mg Cysteine hydrochloride 25mg Methionine 25mg Taurine 25mg Retinyl acetate (equiv vit A 1250 IU) 375ug retinol equivalents Ascorbic acid (vit C) 50mg Cholecalciferol (equiv vit D3 300 IU) 7.5ug d-alpha-Tocopheryl acid succinate 10.3mg Bupleurum falcatum (bupleurum) root 500mg Any opinions would be very much appreciated, thanks.
