Guest guest
Try the MDA or your local Office of Vocational Rehabilitation. -------------- Original message -------------- From: " Kay " <wildflower63@...> Thank you How ever I know there are many great products out there but what organizatins if any pay to install them :-) > > > > We just bought a new van, I don't drive but my name is > > on the title...is there help for getting wheel wells > > or tiedowns put in? and where would i go? > > >
Guest guest
I installed my 4-point tie-downs paying $400 to an adaptive vehicle specialist and I wrote it off as an impairment related work expense with SSA. In retrospect I would have had my mechanic bolt them down for a lot let $. Vocational rehabilitation will pay if it will help you maintain employment or achieve a vocational goal. It is also something you might ask MDA to pay for if it's necessary for you to safely transport to medical appointments. Other options for payment may include local charitable organizations such as religious or civic groups that may or may not require your affiliation. Here we have Catholic Charities, the Lyon's Club, the Masons, the Soroptimists, the Rotary Club, etc. Good luck! > > > > > > We just bought a new van, I don't drive but my name is > > > on the title...is there help for getting wheel wells > > > or tiedowns put in? and where would i go? > > > > > >

Guest guest
My brother designed a tie down system for my chair. It probably cost under $20. If you want I can get some pictures of it. Once my chair is secured to the van floor, I use the seat belt on the chair and I bought a long 3 inch wide web strap with a plastic buckle that I have wrapped around the chair seat that serves as a shoulder strap. I've never been stopped by the police so I can't say if they would consider it legal or not but I can tell you that I feel very secure with this set-up. Guest guest
> > See how I'm responding to this message, Genevieve? It's the incorrect > format for this group, called " topposting " .....<end> Ok. I am trying this again. I am so sorry to be such an idiot but I honestly CAN NOT edit any post on reply in inbox. It keeps setting the text as an image and doesn't let me edit anything below (to delete the excess). I have come to the actual group to try again from here and it works much better. So I snipped a quote from Anya as a test, and deleted all the rest below. Is this better (correct?). I am pretty good with web work (ill/mx/macro/xht) I cannot believe I am having issues with mailboxes. I am really sorry Anya and hope this second example is correct. Pls someone let me know. Guest guest
Hi Page, The treatment makes most of us go anemic. I too had red blood cells go low very early on in treatment. At week 42 I still take a procrit shot weekly for red blood cells and neupogen twice a week for white blood cells. They are supplements to help you with the side effects of your treatment. I think you also mentioned people with colds? By all means, this treatment lowers your immunities. I hold my breath, cover my mouth or leave the premises whenever I'm around people who seem sick. And wash your hands frequently. Best Luck, Kim T.

Guest guest
Hello, I’m new to this group, I’ve been a member for a couple of months. I have a friend, a male (don’t know if that matters), who’s thyroid was removed (I think it was cancer, but I can’t remember at the moment). He’s been on medication ever since. Do you think this protocol would be beneficial for him? I’m seriously considering telling him about this group. Vicki(in Reno, NV)
Guest guest
Yes, the iodine protocol is beneficial for everyone, whether they have a thyroid or not.
