thanks to everyone who wrote back re: root canals.

i'm pretty overwhelmed and nervous. so what else is new? the root canal is

scheduled for tomorrow, and i still don't know what i am gonna do.

so i guess my next question is a reiteration of someone else's: does anyone

know of a holistic-oriented dentist? i'm in the boston area.

warmly,

rebecca

Call the office of Drs. Jeanne Hubbuch and Carol Eglander in Newton,

617-965-7770. They are " integrative " docs themselves and can give you a couple

of names of dentists in at least the Newton

vicinity. - Chris

There was a posting on the CS group that the DMSO and CS could eliminate the

need for a root canal

If you are willing to experiment and have the time, you might want to

consider the experimental protocol that I have used. I brushed my teeth

with a 5% DMSO and CS solution several times a day. I also carried in my

pocket a nasal mister bottle filled with the same solution. Whenever I felt

some pain I would spray the area where the bad tooth was. It took several

weeks before I could bite down on the very painful tooth, but I have had no

problems for several months.

The other experiment I did was to put the hose from my ozone generator in my

mouth for a few minutes at a time. You have to be careful not to breathe

the ozone in. Carefully breathe through your nose and allow the extra ozone

to escape from your mouth. When you are done pull the tube out of your

mouth and be sure to breathe OUT FIRST, other wise your mouthful of ozone

will go down your windpipe and cause you to cough. If you accidentally

breathe too much ozone, 5,000 mg of vit. C will help stop the coughing

problem.

Thanks for the suggestion. I'm wondering if you have been to the

dentist to confirm that the problem is over. I have very little in

the way of symptoms and the only way I know there is a problem is

because of xray. The abcess which is not draining is beginning to

invade a neighboring tooth. I have had a second opinion confirming

this. I'd really like to find a dentist that could remedy or at

least monitor the situation.

I took CS for a couple of months last April and about three months

later the xray showed that the situation remained. I've been

plugging away on this with various remedies for months. I have a

slight swelling so I'm afraid it has not been handled yet.

Most of you know that I am involved with the HTE company who

produce Chi machines and Far Infrared Domes which we call a HotHouse.

There is a dentist in SC that had prostate cancer and used alternatives

to overcome that. He and his colleges do alot of research using as natural

means as possible for all ailments. One of the things he highly recommends

is Transfer Point beta glucan. I bought mine from Dave Perkins on this list..

he has great prices. The dentist uses this in conjunction with the Hot House.

This doctor was also on our HTE conference call recently. Gosh, I wish my

dentist looked at health as he does. Here are a couple very short

articles on dentistry and alternative ways. Edith

CS alone cannot do the job. It requires DMSO to carry the CS to the site

of the infection. I am not the inventor of this protocol. It seemed simple

enough to try and it worked extremely well for me. The pain and swelling

have been gone for months!

My friend tried that and it burned and left a hole in her leg that is

very slow in healing. I would like to hear more about this.

Sounds like it did the job. That is exactly how cansema (black salve) works in

destroying cancer tumors. Be patient!

Was not talking about cansema other than that it seemed to do the same job.

Black salve is still available in many places including several people who can

mix it themselves but don't really market it.

#1 - find a dentist who underestands dangers of root canals and he/she will

have some other options for you.

#2 - homeopathic treatment often is enough to resolve some of the issues

that look like you need a root canal

#3 - I will send articles on the dangeres

#4 - I will send alternative dentists info

I would NEVER get one.

I would have the tooth pulled first if nothing else worked.

LOL!!! Maybe there is a link genetically....mom's who have a tendency to

need root canals are the mom's who are blessed to have little ones with ds!!

I've just had my 7th root canal. Usually I just go right back to work, but

this last one....I only had my mouth open for an hour, but I had to go home.

I laid down for 6 hours!! The dentist even called me the next morning to see

how I was...he said it was a bad one!

So, my dentist often comments that one of my sensitive teeth may need a root canal, a bit too casually for my liking, so I ignore him. Sounds like if I truly need a root canal, it would be better for my health if I just had it pulled? I suppose at that point a spacer of some kind is put in place?
