Guest guest
Actually I have more questions about salt;) I have been having extremely bad muscle spasms in my back for over a year now. At times so bad I have to totally stop what I am doing and lay down and consciously relax my muscles. I have sore tender spots all along my spine and shoulders, neck, etc.that seem to come and go. I find if I push on these it hurts terribly, but helps to relieve the pain after I release. Also, sometimes my spine aches inside...weird. I have been on a quest to figure out what is causing this. It is possible that I have fibromyalgia because I have fatique and brain fog too. Well, anyway miracle of all miracles, if I take the salt daily my back feels so much better I can't believe it. Not cured yet, but better is a great gift!! I have tried everything! SALT??? Why is this helping? I always craved salty foods too. Can anyone explain why celtic salt is helping? Today I decided to do 1 tsp instead of 1/2 and see what happens. Maybe I should take even more! I also upped my iodine to 100mg a day for a few days, but then decided to back it down to 50mg for a few days and then possibly go back up. How do I know how much to take? I suspect I have some thyroid issues but have not been to a doctor and don't know my levels of anything. Do I need to know these things (lab tests, etc) in order to self treat, or can I just go by how I feel? Thanks, Lora D
