Guest guest Posted July 14, 2011 Report Share Posted July 14, 2011 Hello, I am visiting a doc from the STTM good docs list tomorrow and will ask for a number of tests. I have a script for T3 thyroid meds but will be asking for: aldosterone sodium renin DHEA thyroid antibodies possibly urine/ACTH (I understand I will do this at home AFTER I am off melatonin for 2 weeks) I will also be doing a saliva test for adrenals after melatonin stoppage. I take iodine and have been doing supplementary sea salt. I know I should stop the salt today in prep. Do I need to not take iodine also until after the tests? Do either impact adrenal tests?
