Position regarding Iodine on the ADrenals group

Dear readers Some discussion was going on about what position people were expressing regarding iodine on the Adrenals board. I went back and looked at some recent emails that related to this from the mods, and here is one that pertains to this question in response to a member who was concerned about her high rT3 : Iodine may be at least partly to blame for her RT3 and it is hard on adrenals. It stimulates the thyroid to produce T4 so I do not think it is good to take while treating adrenals or RT3.Stan
