I have been on T3 only since last October when I changed from Erfa as I feared I may have reverse T3. I support my adrenals with NAE. I had been on 70 mcg of T3 in split doses for quite some time (long after any reverse T3 would have cleared). I suddenly got symptoms of being on too much and gradually cut down and ended up down to as low as 40 mcg daily. I am presently taking 45 mcg daily in 3 15 mcg doses but yesterday felt this definitely wasn't enough, I really struggled on a walk lacking energy and joint aches. So this morning I decided to increase so took 20mcg when I got up. Within a couple of hours I got the hyper symptoms, a little shaky, feeling weak, difficulty focusing as in it feels like an effort, grumpy and irritable. This was with an increase of 5 mcg. I just don't know what to do now, I seem to be stuck at 45 mcg but can't understand how I had coped on such a higher dose but then this became too much. Basal temp was 36.4 this morning.
