You do this through TPA -= and you write that Thyroid Patient

Advocacy is your Medical Practitioner. This has all been arranged between

Genova and me quite some time ago . Go to our FILES section thyroid treatment/files/

- scroll down the list of folders to the one entitled 'Discounts on Tests and

Supplements' and then open the 'Genova Diagnostics' Document. Follow the

instructions exactly for ordering from there and you will get your test kit,

together with the excellent discount they give our members. If you don't put

that TPA is your medical practitioner, you won't get the kit.

Good luck.

Luv - Sheila

Hello,

F sent me a link to the Aus equivalent of Genova, so i cold get the

saliva test done... but when I looked at their site and then emailed them, I

found that I cannot get this test without a referral letter from a doctor...

and I have no access to a doctor, due to my remote location. Is this the same

with Genova? If I wait till I get back to the UK, will I just be able to get

the test done with no referral?

Also... if I can get to a doctor in my next holiday, I could get the test done

then, while I am away - I am not sure how the test work, other than samples

have to be taken four or so times in 24 hours - is the result likely to be

affected by having a disturbed and tireder-than-usual system, due to flying, sleeping

on friends' sofas etc? Would you advise going ahead now or waiting till I am in

a mmore settled routine and can get it done back home?

Thanks for your advice on this...
