Take 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon in a glass of water (room temp) first thing when you

wake up before anything else goes in your system. Repeat 2 or 3 times per day

depending on how severe your adrenal fatigue is.....

Everyday 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon and sprinkle on food.... to maintain electrolyte

system and to get the 84-90 essential trace minerals into your system...

Cheers,

JOT

Shaz

Just noticed your posts re salt and just wanted to tell you about my experience.

Advised to take celtic salt, I was sceptical as have religiously (and stupidly

as it turns out) mainly excluded salt from my diet for years. After only a short

time of using it (I dont like taking a solution and prefer to just use it in

baking and on my food) and increasing my water intake a bit too,I notice better

rest and a distinct improvement of a very painful and swollen thumb joint. I'd

been having intense 'hot flushes' too which, probably may not be of concern to

you yet !!! but actually these have decreased hugely. As I'm not doing anything

different other than the salt thing, I assume this too is connected.

So I am now a total convert and would suggest anyone interested enough, to give

it a go.

I found my salt on EBay and the only problem for me has been finding the proper

grinder as it's very wet and can corrode an ordinary one. Hope this helps a

tad............

I bought these last year - salt is definitely good for you and not bad as they

have tried to say all these years - but there again I knew that because I am a

salt loser from the adrenal issues I have/had and so could taste salt on my lips

and my skin all the time. So I was taking what I was losing.

best wishes

Hi Shaz, I can testify too.

From an email to Mandy, back in May;

At 53, I'm of the generation that remembers being told in the '70's to

watch your salt intake for hypertension. Because salt had never bothered

me, taste wise, I relied upon salt intake from foods. So, meals like

fish & chips, I never bothered with seasoning. What's exacerbated things

was my GP, upon diagnosing GERD, advising a bland diet. When the last GP

prescribed Omeprazole for reflux my pharmacist friend told me not to use

them. They contraindicate with an anticonvulsant I take. I bought some

baking powder last week as an alternative. There was more efficacy in

Grandma's remedies than Big Pharma's cartel. Just look at the many

occasions, especially hospitalised patients, where another medicine is

further prescribed to counteract the initial drug's side effects?

A pensioner friend was admitted to A+E with respiratory difficulties. On

being prescribed Prednisolone she severely reacted with angio-oedema.

She did an excellent Mick Jagger impersonation. But it wasn't the drug,

Prednisolone, it was a reaction to the tablets coating. What does that

say about E numbers and additives?

More importantly, about salt, I reintroduced Celtic salt in January '11

and the night-time bathroom trips have ceased.

I view Dr an authority on Adrenal and Thyroid issues and he

states;

Many health authorities advise against eating salt. My experience,

however, is that if one eats a diet of natural foods high in magnesium

and only uses sea salt, most people will not have difficulty with salt

at all. In fact, natural sea salt is a very healthful product that most

people need more of to supply many important trace minerals.

This article <http://www.drlwilson.com/articles/salt.htm> discusses

the differences between refined and natural salt, salt and magnesium,

metabolic types and their sodium needs, salt and high blood pressure,

monosodium glutamate and what to do if you are salt-sensitive.
