Guest guest
Hi Lyn: ARe you taking supplements? Do you have any test results for Iron or ferritin? How are you sleeping? Are you taking magnesium, selenium, vitamin B12 and a good Vitamin b Complex? What about celtic sea salt? A good Omega 3 oil? With fatigue we want to look at ferritin and get some sea salt in you to help the adrenals function better. ARe you avoiding coffee and sugary drinks and alcohol and caffeinated drinks? Low minerals and vitamins: thyroid treatment/files/Vitamin%20%26%\ 20Mineral%20Supplements/ Have you read Sheila's article at the bottom of the list here about why natural thyroid meds stop working? thyroid treatment/files/ Fatigue is many things, very often low ferritin, low B12 and low salt in the system. Your magnesium and potassium levels both need to be at the top of the range. Have you looked at Dr Peatfield's hypothyroid list of symptoms? You can print this out and discuss it with your medical adviser as well. http://thinkthyroid.blogspot.com/2011/08/symptoms-of-hypothyroidism-dr-barry.htm\ l Cheers, JOT > Been taking NAX then Armour stopped taking both 2 weeks before these bloods as was not doing well feeling spaced out. Guest guest
Hi Lyn - TSH is too high, to feel good, TSH should be around 1.0. Free T4 is far too low. For somebody not on any thyroid hormone replacement it should be just above the middle of the reference range, so yours should be somewhere in the region of 16 to 17. Ask your GP to test to see whether you have antibodies to your thyroid, especially if there are other members of your family who have a thyroid or autoimmune disease. Luv - Sheila Got some new test results . Dont ask me why but he chose just to do 2 thyroid ??? Free t4 11.6 range 12-22 TSH 2.27 " 0.27-4.7 random cortisol 556 no range cheers Lyn
