help with my iosol math

There are 1830mcg of iodine in one drop and right now I am taking about 12mgs of

lugol. I want to use up my old bottle of Iosol. How many tsp or TBS. will I have

to take of iosol to =12mgs of lugol? My math is not good! joyce

12 mg = 12000 mcgSo divide 12000 mcg by 1830mcg and you will get your figure. Then drop that many drops into a measuring spoon and see where it comes out.LynFrom: joyce <jamkaye1@...>

I did the division and it came out to be 6.5573. So what does that mean? 6 drops

= what? joyce

Yes 6 drops.

Actually, 6.5 drops equals the 12 mg you wanted to reach. I'd do 7 drops

to be sure you're getting your full 12mg.
