Where can I get proper tests done in southern England?

My new GP has sent off my blood to test for TSH and T4 and because I was in such

a bad way (could barely get to surgery) has deigned to give me a small starter

dose of Levothyroxine and have to have another test in 6 weeks and then go back

to him. I asked him to include T3 in the tests but he said it wasn`t necessary.

I asked him for Natural Thyroid Hormone and he said he`d never heard of it - I

explained it was from pigs and he laughed and said he would rather prescribe

thyroxine that had been manufactured in a clean clinical laboratory rather than

something from a pig`s throat.

Anyhow, I am disenchanted with his attitude and want to get properly tested.

I`ve just watched Dr. Beckingham`s 6 videos which helped me understand masses

about the endocrine system but ..... he`s in America!

Does anyone know of a doctor or clinic in the south of England where I could get

a proper range of tests done so I can find the CAUSE.
