Guest guest
Hi there, I wonder if anyone else has been suffering from stubbornly low ferrtin levels despite trying to treat it? Perhaps I am being a little impatient as I am not sure how quickly one should expect to see any real improvement. I've been treating for five months. Any advice that anyone has would be greatly appreciated, currently I've taken these steps: Pre-treatment Ferritn level = 27 (13 - 150) Took 2 x Spatone daily from 24th March for four months 16/05/2011 - Ferritin = 25.9 (10 - 200) Switched to Bluebonnet Chelated iron 27mg capusle. Took 2 x capsules daily for 2 weeks & then upped to 3 x capusles daily for two weeks (these four weeks cover 25th July to date) 9/08/2011 - Ferritin = 29 (13 - 150) As you can see I don't appear to be getting anywhere very fast......my Ferritin has gone up to 29 from 27 after five months of Spatone followed by Chelated Iron tablets. Should I expect to have seem more of an improvment over this time? Any insights anybody....? Thanks, Kerry
