Guest guest
new to the group..trying desperately to put a post here..i hope i'll succeed this time. i'm from israel. no doctor here that treats with lugol solution.spoke several times in the past with dr. flechas who was kind enough to try and help me for free. i tried to use iodoral for graves disease ( i dont know what i have since i've had both hyper and hypo it a long story don't want to bother you with the detailes)without success. even though i felt very good with the iodoral. i'm hyper now..my hormones in the lsat blood test went very high so i didn't have any coice but to take methemazole. i now it's a bad medicine since it blocks the absorbtion of iodine. i want to use iodoral but don't know how. have you got any idea? may be that there is here some body with graves or toxic hashimoto that can help me. as i said eanglish is not my mother tongue so sorry in advance for the mistakes. Guest guest
Natural medicine doctors use L-Carnatine and Lithium with higher doses of Iodine to slow the thyroid down. If you have an autonomically functioning nodule then you will have issues with iodine and becoming hyper and at this point I do not know of a remedy around it. Those with this issue end up not taking iodine. It is not unusual to have the thyroid swing from hyper to hypo especially in cases of hashimotos as it sputters and tries to return to normal function before finally burning out.
