Guest guest
Hi Chris: Florinef is the drug for low Aldosterone....you're symptoms seem like low aldosterone as well as adrenal fatigue. Celtic Sea salt first thing in the morning will help these symptoms and I would also suggest an adrenal desiccated which I take religiously: http://www.pureformulas.com/adrenal-desiccated-90-tablets-by-standard-process.ht\ ml This product helps a great deal with raising metabolism too. Cheers, JOT I have a problem in the mornings whereby i wake up feeling ok, but as soon as i try to get up and moving, after a few minutes, i get very stressed, pulse shoots up, and feel horrible. sometimes feel wheezy. Guest guest
Thank you JOt do you know how to interpret aldosterone urine tests? Aldosterone 13.5 µg/24h 5.0-20 That was done while on 17.5mg hc. im now on more hc than that. problem is though these mornings are killing me. takes me all day to recover, then it starts the next day, and again. it ruins the whole day for me. chris > > Hi Chris: > > Florinef is the drug for low Aldosterone....you're symptoms seem like low aldosterone as well as adrenal fatigue. >

Guest guest
Check this link, chris...it's quite good. http://www.cigna.com/healthinfo/hw6534.html It depends on what time of day your tests were taken too. Guest guest
Your sodium looks a bit high, but potassium should be at the top of the range and also magnesium. Do you have magnesium results? When magnesium and potassium are not balanced or not both at the top of the reference range, you can feel bad. Magnesium is so very important. How are your vitamin D3 levels? This also needs to be balanced with the calcium and magnesium and potassium. Guest guest
that is the amount excreted over 24 hours. the sodium result is 30% over the top end of normal? ie i'm losing a lot of sodium? for that test, this is all i have. Iodine 156 µg/L 100-199 Iodine 254 µg/24h 170-280 Urinary volume (24h) 1630 mL/24h 600-2500 Creatinine 192 mg/dL Creatinine + 3.13 g/24h 1.0-2.2 Sodium + 291.8 mEq/24h 100-220 Potassium 106.0 mEq/24h 35-128 Calcium 26.7 mg/dL Calcium + 435.2 mg/24H 140-280 Magnesium 12.7 mg/dL Magnesium + 207.0 mg/24h 60-120 Phosphorus + 1.4 g/24h 0.4-0.8 taking d3, 10,000 IU a day for 2 monnths had this symptom of morning stress for last 3 years or more > > Your sodium looks a bit high, but potassium should be at the top of the range and also magnesium. > Do you have magnesium results? Guest guest
Hi All the 24hr urinary results look higher than the ranges quoted, except for potassium, ie general salt loss except for potassium; is that, by any chance, heading into the hyperkalemic range ? I'd guess your blood iodine is being maintained by thyroid hormone treatment ? Guest guest
You (and I) may be on to something, jot. after the 40th time i've been told about sea salt, i took more yesterday and it seemed to help. today after reading links on this subject i got up really slowly, in stages, and for the first time in years, i didn't have this stress/panic reaction. it is good not to have it. i will look into what else i can do > > Celtic Sea salt first thing in the morning will help these symptoms and I would also suggest an adrenal desiccated which I take religiously:
Guest guest
Ahh.....you do make me laugh Chris... Sometimes the 41st time is the charm :0) I have a very interesting story about adrenal fatigue and celtic sea salt. When I was young and growing up my mother was very abusive. My adrenals were always shot, but I didn't know enough about it at that time to put two and two together. I did, however, always feel better and stronger once I spent the day at the beach swimming in the ocean (sea salt)....it was the fall, winter and spring months which were hardest on me. From decades of Mystical and Divine studies, I had finally learned the connection and also learned that the abuse stays in your cells until you're strong enough to release it. So in retrospect, I knew that my adrenal fatigue was directly connected to my abuse. Most people never pick up on this. When I started reading great psychology by Alice and others, they never used the word adrenal fatigue, but they always used words which described adrenal fatigue symptoms. It was 25 years ago when I first discovered natural sea salt in Hawaii. My road to healing improved immediately once I started to consume it everyday. My body reacted stronger as well because my cells remembered the salty ocean which made me stronger and more mentally alert. Salt is responsible for so much in our systems. The trace minerals are something we cannot live without, yet so many people are doing just that these days. They wonder why they have pain and seizures and their electrolyte system is compromised.....so many diseases are helped with just a touch of salt....the good salt.... Here's a blog I wrote on salt with some good links to reference: http://blimey.dreamwidth.org/4301.html Cheers, JOT > You (and I) may be on to something, jot. after the 40th time i've been told about sea salt, i took more yesterday and it seemed to help. Guest guest
Hi Chris: I just wrote you this long post on the story of my adrenal fatigue and when I clicked on send it didn't come through.... so here we go again: When I was young I was constantly abused by my mother. My adrenals were shot from the time I was born and for most of my life. I noticed that I always felt stronger and less intimidated during the summer months...it didn't dawn on me till years later that I spent most days at the beach swimming in the ocean. (sea salt) When I was about 25 I moved to Hawaii and discovered natural sea salt and starting using it on everything...my body responded to it well because cells have memory. They remembered how much it helped me back when I was swimming. It was a big breakthrough in my own healing. I'd delved into Divine and Mystical studies along with my psychology studies and I learned quite a bit about abuse and cells and how releasing this damage would improve my health and my adrenals. No one ever mentioned the term adrenal fatigue but they were describing the symptoms of adrenal fatigue in every sentence. It finally clicked for me. It made complete sense, I was just given another gift of wisdom along the path. It doesn't matter the type of abuse, whether it be physical, mental, verbal, spiritual....it's all emotionally damaging and that's what adrenals react too.....and what the cells hang on to until you can let it go. The trace minerals in sea salt are profound all by themselves. They are so desperately needed the the body and the mind. People who have started to take trace mineral drops, report amazing relief from tumors, seizures, panic attacks, etc. There's a long list of stories about miraculous healings. Salt, iodine, water....we can't live without it, it is our main support... Here's a blog I did on salt a while back...with some good links you may find interesting: http://blimey.dreamwidth.org/4301.html Cheers, JOT > You (and I) may be on to something, jot. after the 40th time i've been told about sea salt, i took more yesterday and it seemed to help. Guest guest
I think a couple of my posts have gone astray too. According to the adrenal group, is being a bit erratic again. No energy now so will repost another time. Guest guest
Hi there Jot I thought you might like that reference :-) it's kind of true, too Well, i wonder if I needed salt all along - could it be that taking more salt has caused a thyroid dump? Ok here's why: yesterday i was doing stuff around my home, which i stopped an hour or two before bed, and found my bedtime temp was 37.4c. it's never that high normally, maybe 36.7c, say and drops quite rapidly. Today i feel quite bad - very slow thoughts and low mood all day, and now that's changed into crippling anxiety and nausea. only one way to find out if it's thyroid of course. (awaiting as we speak) Thank you for sharing your story about celtic sea salt. I am sorry you were treated so badly - that doesn't begin to cover it does it but i don't want to not even acknowledge what you shared and go wittering on about myself :-( > When I started reading great psychology by Alice and others, they never used the word adrenal fatigue, but they always used words which described adrenal fatigue symptoms. Did you ever read 'the joy of burnout ' by gina glouberman? That sounds like adrenal fatigue to me, too. I haven't read any Alice I have read your blog post on this, thanks Best wishes Chris > > Ahh.....you do make me laugh Chris... > Sometimes the 41st time is the charm :0) > > I have a very interesting story about adrenal fatigue and celtic sea salt. Guest guest
well, as sensitive as i am, i feel my anxiety leaving me and calming down and seem to be feeling the benefit of taking the naturethroid earlier > > > Today i feel quite bad - very slow thoughts and low mood all day, and now that's changed into crippling anxiety and nausea. only one way to find out if it's thyroid of course. Guest guest
i thought it was good. i read it at the end of 2003 and i sure felt burntout - couldn't do anything, some days i couldn't get off the settee - walking a few hundred yards exhausted me. though a (former) 'friend' of mine said 'you aren't burntout , you've not done anything'! no studying 7 days a week, sometimes being studying all night - and still making no progress, in a subject that i was completely unsuited to study, was nothing, and then to not even finish my degree and have 30k of debts, was nothing. hmm. there you are! Its in hindsight that I think it could be talking about adrenal fatigue, but i think as more of a consequence of lifestyle rather than surving traumatic experiences. You can read a few pages on the preview here: http://www.amazon.com/Joy-Burnout-Burning-Unlocks-Brighter/dp/0955545609/ref=sr_\ 1_1?ie=UTF8 & qid=1314042438 & sr=8-1#reader_0955545609 i thought it was good, anyway.
