Guest guest
Hi Group, I have developed a symptom and wanted to ask if others have had this happen after starting iodine? I am doing the entire Iodine protocol as recommended although I am moving very slowly in my increases as I have suspected adrenal issues and am waiting on my full test results before increasing my iodine and thyroid medication. I don't want to make myself worse in the attempt to get better! In the meantime however I am experiencing a swollen arm and hand on my right side. In looking this up on Google I find that this could be (or really is most likely) due to a blocked lymph node. I have bronchitis right now which I was trying to heal without antibiotics but that wasn't working. Then my hand started hurting - and so bad I couldn't use it at all - no grasp without severe pain. So I broke down and went to urgent care. I'm hoping the bronchitis has caused the lymph node problem, but was wondering if in clearing out toxins maybe they have got stuck the lymph node. Any ideas out there? Thanks, Higgins
Guest guest
, This happened to me almost a year into taking iodine, when I was on an extremely high dosage (well, extremely high for me). You can find the thread by looking in the archives for my name and a thread titled something like Not Sure What Happened. My arm was enormous. If you research lymphedema, you will find that it is incurable, but I am totally recovered and just fine now, -- just sticking to a lower dose of iodine. Guest guest
Could be your detox pathways are clogged - my lymph glands in my neck got very swollen and sore when I started SSKI w/o knowing of it's detox abilities and how to deal with them. I am new at this and I hope one of the other more experienced members jumps in here to help out. Guest guest
Thanks , I appreciate your information. I'm still swollen, but with little pain this am. Now I will set off on my journey of discovery on the internet! =) Higgins http://becomingaspecialneedsadvocate.blogspot.com/ Re: Could Iodine be the Cause of this Symptom? , This happened to me almost a year into taking iodine, when I was on an extremely high dosage (well, extremely high for me). Guest guest
Rebounding is good for the lymph system, bouncing on a small trampoline or if you don't have a trampoline, you can use an exercise ball and just sit and bounce on that.
