The message she seems to be trying to put accross is that she only got better when she threw away her prescription drugs and began to take natural products! Its not clear from the article if she also threw out her thyroid meds. > The article headline is about Looking Skinny. I needed my armour to start with, I got up to 2 and half grains, and then have gradually dropped down to half a grain. I feel quite well on the half grain and I am working to improve my health with the aim at dropping it altogether in the future - if possible. I have done it by going on a diet that excludes grain and sugar. ( though I will cheat a little on occassion, but not for the first 2 years which was very strict). I take lots of supplements and I think that magnesium and vit d3 are very important for me personally. There has to be a cause for illness, maybe we all have a different reason for becoming hypothyroid and sometimes it might be reversible for some of us. My mission is quite an obsession and I don't think it is for everybody, but really it is possible correct lots of deficiencies and start to function normally. I have altered my diet totally, to a paleo style diet, from a near veggie diet. I am using coconut oil to cook with to try and raise my temperature, it is now 36.8 from just under 35. I have changed all my household products and toiletries, and try to eat organic food which I can buy at ocado. And it is a lot of trouble and quite expensive!! But, who knows, the BTA might be behind this story. Nothing surprises me considering that they are trying to stop people from getting a diagnosis and saying taking thyroid hormone can be dangerous if we don't need it - as if we wanted to take it unless we needed it anyway. She is way too skinny. Something doesn't ring quite true - but this may be just me. Luv - Sheila Want to draw your attention to an article featured in the Sun newspaper.
