Goiter removal and Iodine.

A relative of mine got part of her goitre removed last year, and I think she

does not (have to) take any medication. So my question is,

is that correct not to take any medication at all? I'd

like her to take

Lugol's iodine. Would that be OK, and how much should she take? Would

50 mg per day be right, plus selenium, vit.C, magnesium and salt loading, and

then slowly increase iodine?

Best regards, Micha
