Guest guest
After sending the below message I have read that having low B12 levels ie. Pernicious Anaemia can also affect the T4 to T3 conversion. I have 3 monthly B12 injections. I am therefore extremely keen to give T3 a go, have been into local Pharmacy and told its only available on Prescription so where is a reliable source I can buy it from? Hello can you please advise the best place for me to buy T3? My GP will not give it to me on prescription at the moment but has advised me to give it a try for 3 months and then she will review my case. I am currently taking 125mcgs of Thyroxine and have had an underactive Thyroid for over 15 years. No matter what dose I am given I cannot lose weight and the amount of food I eat and the amount of exercise I do has no effect whatsoever.I am fighting continual tiredness and more than occassional depression. She has advised me to lower my dose of T4 to 100mcgs and take it in conjunction with an initial low dose of T3. I need to ensure that I am buying the T3 from a reliable source, there are endless websites and I have no idea which are genuine sources also what sort of dose should I be taking?. Your advice would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks Kay Knight
