Guest guest
Yes I did. There are articles (I believe) on www.iodine4health.com about iodine and the eye. I had a lot of improvements when I added Kroeger Herb's Sunny A too the iodine. Buist, ND eyesight improvement? I have been a member of the NTH forum for several years but am new here. I am wondering if it is just having a functional thyroid (again, after proper treatment) that improves one's eyesight or if it is something in Iodoral? I have been using Iodoral for a couple months---and just noticed today that my close-up and mid range eyesight has improved a lot just recently.Has anyone else noticed that iodine or improved thyroid function has caused an improvement in eyesight? this puzzles me---as it was unexpected to be able to read up close without glasses (which I have needed for 13 years.)Just wondering if others have noticed improved eyesight, too?~J
Guest guest
For what it's worth, since iodine affects so many body systems, some of the change could be indirect. I remember an eye doctor telling me that your blood sugar could affect your vision, by causing a slight change in the shape of the eye. Several people have commented that iodine improved their blood sugar status in regard to diabetes. It is not too big a reach to think that if you had some kind of subclinical blood sugar issue that was affecting your vision, correcting the blood sugar would correct your vision. A lot of times something that improves your health has a diffuse effect that is hard to chart.AnneOn Jun 8, 2011, at 1:51 PM, ladybugsandbees wrote: Yes I did. Guest guest
Hi Louise, I have had a small improvement - but not as outstanding as the one when I started taking folic acid. Maybe try adding that in too! eyesight improvement? Has anyone had improved eyesight after taking iodine? I'm sorry if this question has been asked before I've not noticed it before. I recently noticed that my eyesight at night is much better, I don't see halos around lights as much as I had been seeing. I have cataracts and night driving has been a real big issue for me but recently I can see clearly. Louise
