Guest guest
Hi : I feel that Omron make the best BP monitors. I have 3 monitors and Omron takes the best readings and it's superior to the other two. I looked at Amazon.com uk and this is the one I like, read the reviews and see if this is something you would like. http://www.amazon.co.uk/Omron-Pressure-Dual-User-Facility-Dual-Size/dp/B001DBQIJ\ W/ref=tag_dpp_lp_edpp_img_in ....and don't forget, if you order it through the link on the main page of this forum, 5% of your purchase price will be sent to the TPA !!! YAY ! http://www.amazon.co.uk/278-5135849-6113134?ie=UTF8 & placement=home_multi.gif & tag\ =thypatadvuk-21 & link_code=hom Cheers, JOT > I've been looking online but am feeling a bit overwhelmed by how many there are! Guest guest
Hi It is better to buy one that is recommended by the BPA. They even sell them direct - http://eshop.bpassoc-shop.org.uk/BP3AG1-Home-Blood-Pressure-Monitor There are so many on the market and some are so inaccurate they end up worthless!! Guest guest
If you live in the UK, you could buy the BP Monitor sold by Lloyds Pharmacies. These are cuff monitors and excellent. This is what I have. They cost about £10. Luv - Sheila I've been looking online but am feeling a bit overwhelmed by how many there are! Guest guest
Thank you for your replies everyone. x I like the look of the fancy ones that you can upload the results to your PC but I don't really *need* that. Good old pen & paper will do! I had a look on Lloyds Pharmacy Sheila, and they had this basic Omron one for £14.99: http://www.lloydspharmacy.com/en/omron-m2-basic-digital-automatic-blood-pressure\ -monitor-13610 The reviews on Amazon look good & it is validated by the BPA. I have a Lloyds just down the road so I will see if they have one instore. x
