Hi I got my armour thyroid pills from the USA on Thursday morning. I took 2 of

th 1/4 pills. I felt totally full of energy and rushed around doing too much

stuff. Hadnt felt that way in nearly a decade!.

In the early hours of friday morning I had to phone the emergency doctors out as

my heart was racing and I could feel it, I was hot all over and I couldnt

breathe.

I actually passed out and was sick. Luckily our oldest heard me and got me the

phone so I could get the doctor out.

He gave me a injection and some pills. I eventually calmed down and felt a lot

better. I had been very scared. I have had so many panic and anxiety attacks

over the years but it was nothing like that.

He advised me to cut right down to just one pill and take it very slowly. He

said where my thyroid hadnt functioned right for the past 10 years it had been

overwhelmed by the T3 hit it must of got.

For the past 2 days I have taken just one pill per day.

I weighed my self this evening and no kidding in 3 days I have lost 5lbs in

weight. I have not lost weight despite dieting and exercising for years. I have

not changed my diet or exercise routine at all.

I have been waiting to go back to see the consultants endicrinologists at the

OCDEM in Oxford and have got a appointment today to see them on Friday.

Shall I keep taking the Armour Thyroid before the appointment?. Or do I want

them to take blood tests as I have been struggling for years?

Thanks for any advice.

Emma (UK)
