Am I a fool to start the iodine protocol without first taking the iodine loading

test and, also, the bromide level test?

No. My doctor is Dr. Brownstein and it was a year before we ran the Iodine Loading test on me. I started at 50 mgs. It is not necessary for you to do it. Iodine is needed by every cell in the body. It is for a baseline / reference point.

Most people do not take the tests. It's nice for a baseline, but it's not

necessary. Any iodine the body can't use is washed harmlessly out in the

urine. But we're all deficient so you can rest assured.
