Guest guest
Am I a fool to start the iodine protocol without first taking the iodine loading test and, also, the bromide level test? Thanks for any thoughts. Steve
Guest guest
No. My doctor is Dr. Brownstein and it was a year before we ran the Iodine Loading test on me. I started at 50 mgs. It is not necessary for you to do it. Iodine is needed by every cell in the body. It is for a baseline / reference point. Buist, ND Am I a fool to start the iodine protocol...? Guest guest
Most people do not take the tests. It's nice for a baseline, but it's not necessary. Any iodine the body can't use is washed harmlessly out in the urine. But we're all deficient so you can rest assured. --V At 04:56 PM 6/23/2011, you wrote: >No. My doctor is Dr. Brownstein and it was a year before we ran the >Iodine Loading test on me. Guest guest
Thanks, and B., for your helpful reply. I'll be starting in the next few days... with much more confidence than I previously had. Cheers! Steve > > > >No. My doctor is Dr. Brownstein and it was a year before we ran the > >Iodine Loading test on me. I started at 50 mgs. It is not necessary for > >you to do it.
