Guest guest
When I first joined this forum, I saw a post about iodine helping the body convert beta-carotene into vitamin A. The info registered in my brain without my feeling it to be of any particular importance to me. It amazes me, sometimes, how much I can be " out to lunch. " For the past nine or so years, I've been juicing on a daily basis, anywhere from 1.5 - 2 quarts a day, using mixed veggies, but about 50% carrots. And in that time, my skin definitely took on a yellowish hue. Now -- the yellow is gone! Which is great news for me, not only cosmetically, but health-wise as I definitely need the vitamin A. Doing a happy dance.
