Guest guest
hello group, just wondering if anyone can tell me if sweating alot & cracks on fingers is a bromide detox? just started recently but I've only been doing iodine for a month now. sure would appreciate input. thanks! Sheila > > > > > > > > hello everyone, I'm new to group & had a few questions. some quick background: started on NTH 2008,didn't do that good. realized I had RT-3. started T-3 only 8/2010. body filled up w/fluid horribly & gained 35lbs. moderators on RT-3 group thought it was related to electrolyte imbalance so have been doing sodium/potassium but hasnt helped. found info on iodine few weeks ago, decided to try it. started w/lugol's 2%. noticed more energy, hair stopped falling out, skin better, mental & emotional much better! was able to get off T-3 first week. been off completely for 2 weeks now & feel good. now doing 5%solution/300mg a day. feel I need that much as I have Hep-c, H-pylori, gluten intolerance etc. I'm taking b-2,b-3 twice a day, vit-c, b-complex, probiotics, selenium, iron, hcl & enzymes & herbs for hep-c. my questions are: do you think fluid retention could be related to bromine detox? I've read where ther's about 50-60% iodine in thyroid meds so wondering if that's what started all this? it does seem to be getting a little better w/just iodine. also, what will help me get my temps up? havent gotten above 97.8? & yesterday a big round rash appeared inside thigh area & I've had pain in rib under r. breast, could that be related to bromine/heavy metal detox & what would help this? Oh, forgot to mention I'm on 30mg HC for adrenal fatigue also. thankyou so much for your time & effort in answering my questions! Guest guest
I have read that cracks in the skin are a sign of a need for Omega 3 Fatty Acids. Also dehydration can cause the issue. Guest guest
thanks for response , I do take krill oil twice a day & am doing grey celtic sea salt a few times a day, potassium, magnesium, selenium. with all this could I still be dehydrated? or could it be too much or too little iodine? & do you know what would cause me to be sweating so much? thankyou, Sheila > > > > > > > > > > hello everyone, I'm new to group & had a few questions. some quick background: started on NTH 2008,didn't do that good. realized I had RT-3. started T-3 only 8/2010. body filled up w/fluid horribly & gained 35lbs. moderators on RT-3 group thought it was related to electrolyte imbalance so have been doing sodium/potassium but hasnt helped. found info on iodine few weeks ago, decided to try it. started w/lugol's 2%. noticed more energy, hair stopped falling out, skin better, mental & emotional much better! was able to get off T-3 first week. been off completely for 2 weeks now & feel good. now doing 5%solution/300mg a day. feel I need that much as I have Hep-c, H-pylori, gluten intolerance etc. I'm taking b-2,b-3 twice a day, vit-c, b-complex, probiotics, selenium, iron, hcl & enzymes & herbs for hep-c. my questions are: do you think fluid retention could be related to bromine detox? Guest guest
It is possible to have an allergy that is causing that. It can be something in your soaps, or it can be something you are eating. I know of several people with skin issues... Guest guest
My son had/has this issue and I think it is related to the fact that he does not have good detox pathways. The skin is one of the ways to detox. My son, too, was on krill oil and tuna oil and many other nutritional supplements. The thing that worked for him was a Chinese tea, consisting of several things - prunes, some type of berry, almonds, astriligus (sp?), and licorice all boiled together. He drinks the tea once a day and his skin has cleared up. his was so bad his feet were cracking and splitting and bleeding. He also had a lot of asthma symptoms, which have disappeared. I think it is more related to detox than anything - also maybe oil in your body - some people do not absorb from the pills and you may need to take the oil a different way and maybe with enzymes???
