Yes and I would drink copious amounts of water besides your showers. Treat the inside more than the outside. Your body gets rid of yucky stuff through sweat glands and urine.Drink lots of water!!!!!!!!!! From: Viola <viola062003@...>iodine Sent: Wed, May 25, 2011 4:26:24 AMSubject: Iodine and body odor...

This is a bit embarrasing, but since being on iodine, I am having a real problem with body odor. This has never been a problem in the past. I am taking 37.5 mg a day of iodoral for the last few months - before that I was taking 12.5 for a year.

I have gone down to one a day for now - but I am actually having to take two showers a day! When I do my workout, my whole room smells from me sweating! It is a really nasty odor.

Could this be detox?

I must admit I am not good about taking salt water, but I do take all of the other companion nutrients and I do salt my food pretty heavily

I've also been having some anxiety, stress, and feelings of being overwhelmed -

Through blood tests, I am showing low on magnesium, even though I am supplementing using the oil (about 400 mg a day) and then oxide and glycine type magnesium (800 mg a day)

I am still low, though.

Any suggestions? Why am I not absorbing the magnesium? What to do about this anxiety, stress, body odor!?? Stay at one iodoral a day or go back up to three?

Viola

You can also take detoxing baths. One cup of epsom salts to one cup hydrogen peroxide. Soak for 20 mins in very warm water. This will help to cleanse the skin. You can add lemon to your water to help with liver detox pathways. It is a good thing that you are eliminating it!

how long does this phase usually last? this brings to mind my aunts brother, years ago who was on a lot of meds. he had a really bad body odor. my mother always said it was the medicine he had to take. don't know what the meds were but you could smell them. it was bad. diane, near philly, p On May 25, 2011, at 8:19 AM, ladybugsandbees wrote:You can also take detoxing baths. It depends on how toxic you are and how much help you are giving your body to detox. There are no set rules for detoxing. We are all different. Buist,NDSent from my iPadOn May 29, 2011, at 2:21 PM, diane gaul <ditique@...> wrote:
