On the advice of Dr P I am trying the T3 only regime but am really struggling.

I got up to 100mcg and felt really dreadful, even more exhausted, muscle/joint

pain and felt very hot.

Dr P suggested I could be toxic and reduced to 50mcg daily.

More recently he suggested increasing to 75mcg daily.

I feel really dreadful, so, so tired and pain in muscles, can hardly get through

the day.

I have read that Iron could be causing a resistance but Dr P suggested that I

only take 3 x Spatone per week.

I am enclosing my blood test results and wondered what you think.

I am currently taking: 75mcg Cytomel, 4 x NAX, 1 x 30mg CQ10, 4000Vit C, 2 x Vit

B12, am trying to take Magnesium but cannot tolerate it (Nutri), high dose of

HRT Zumenon - 6mg daily and a digestive aid prescribed by my GP Omeprazole 20mg

daily.

My blood results are as follows:-

Total T3 - 1.0

TSH: 0.02

Free T4: 2.0

25 hydroxy-Vit D3 - 66.6

25 hydroxy - Vit D2 - 2.0

Sodium (serum) - 140

Potassium (serum) 4.4

Urea (serum) 6.0

Corrected calcium - 2.20

Phosphate (serum) 0.71

Protein - 69

Albumin - 43

Globulins - 26

Alkaline phosphatase - 69

Total bilirubin - 3

ALT - 19

serum magnesium - 0.74

serum vit B12 - 537

Serum ferritin - 108

serum folate - 20.0

estimated glomerular filtration rate 83

total iron binding capacity - 72.8

serum iron - 17.8

Can anyone please let me know what they think of these results.

Many thanks
