Since starting iodine two months ago one skin tag grew much larger and two new

ones have formed. Has this happened to any of you? i have tried using the

iodine topically but so far no change. It is tricky to apply topically and not

stain clothes. Is decolorized iodine okay to use for this?

Hi Jan,Where did you purchase your white iodine?ThetaFrom: Jan T <jan.t@...>Subject: Skin Tagsiodine Date: Saturday, May 28, 2011, 7:04 AM

,

I also got tiny skin tags on my eyelids, (both top and bottom) at the time I didn’t connect it to iodine, just thought it might be age related, as many of my relatives have skin tags. I used the white iodine, it smells like ammonia, and just dabbed a little on each tag every morning on bare skin after washing. I tried first using a Q-tip to apply it, but found I had better control just using my fingertip to apply a little, as I could feel where I was touching. I had 7-8 tags, some went quicker than others, but within 6 weeks they were all gone. Sometimes my skin got irritated and it stung, a few times I got the iodine in my eye and it stung, but I stayed with it and it worked.

So good luck, I know they can be a bit distressing when they are right on your eyelids.

Good, Jan. And just so everyone knows, iodine is therapeutic to the eyes

and not at all harmful.

You have to tie them tight enough to cut the Blood circulation - so fairly

tight!!! I saw this on Dr Oz and got rid of 2 this way.

They don't look like styes, they look just like the skin tags I already have.

Very weird spot to get them. Thanks for your help - I will give those things a

try.
