Guest guest
Hiya i cant remember what medication you are on at the moment. But for me adding a bed time dose of T3 25mg as my head touches the pillow is the best most single thing i have done to help with my morning fatigue. About 1 year i got a warning from work for being late too many times (i only started at 10am and i lived 5 minutes away, thats how bad i used to be in the mornings) but now im up at 8:30am with little problems compared to how i used to be. Im also on hc so take my last hc dose 2.5mg along with my T3 at around 11pm when going to bed. Guest guest
Hi Chris It the pits isn't it? I have had bad fatigue, particularly in the mornings for years. I have been on thyroxine for 15 years and never felt any benefit. Recently saw Dr P and got a treatment regime so hope the fatigue will improve along with everything else! best wishes > > hi > > I have really bad fatigue in the morning. has anyone had this due to thyroid, and if so, has it resolved with treatment? > > feel awful in the mornings, hate them so much. > > thanks > > chris >
Guest guest
Hi, > I have really bad fatigue in the morning. has anyone had this due to thyroid, and if so, has it resolved with treatment? > feel awful in the mornings, hate them so much. My awful morning fatigue has been somewhat reduced with thyroid medication and HC. The depression I used to have on waking has gone due to taking my last dose of T3 at night. I still have tiredness in the morning but work round it by luckily having a part-time job in the afternoons. Before I saw Dr P in 2007 and started taking Nutri Adrenal and Armour, my morning fatigue and depression was almost crippling. All my life I have never been a morning person - and it got worse as I got older. People used to call my lazy etc., but having to drag myself out of bed to go to work when I was younger, and later to take my son to school, and after my divorce having to take my son to school and then go to work - and continuing to go to work until I could stand it no more and luckily got a part-time job was not lazyness. I accept that I will never be a 'morning person' - now I treat myself gently and if I am asked to do something or go somewhere in the morning I just say 'no'. But my mornings have got better with thyroid medication and HC. B

Guest guest
thanks i feel fairly human later in the day, so it's always an unpleasant shock to feel like i'm semi comatose in the mornings with av ery low mood. perhaps i too have to get used to this and accept it. doesn't help when i wake up early etc. :-( c > > Hi, > > > I have really bad fatigue in the morning. has anyone had this due to thyroid, and if so, has it resolved with treatment? > > feel awful in the mornings, hate them so much. >
