Guest guest
The homeopathic route to relieve my detox symptoms wasn't working as well as I thought or liked, so last night after my eyes started to swell and water -- very painful and uncomfortable -- I pillaged my son's bathroom and took his children's Benadryl liquid. Did I just set my healing back; does anyone know if there is bromide in or if bromide, or any of the halides, is used in making Benadryl? I read through the thread about cortisol suppression, so it seems to be safe enough if not taken regularly. Any contraindications with any of the supplements or remedies used for iodine/ide detox reaction? I want to continue the supps, but probably not a good idea to do the saltwater flush with Benadryl, since there is a warning against people with sodium-restricted diets taking it. I'm not on a sodium-restricted diet, but careful about my salts. I also have Zyrtec in the house, but couldn't find it last night. Which of the antihistamines is going to give me the least trouble with side effects? TIA, Sheila
