Guest guest
I know this is off topic, but I had to reply to this because I do not do the off topic group. Go to a biological dentist immediately with this tooth issue. They are more trained to handle these issues safely. As someone else suggested, root canals are indeed a link to breast cancer, and I believe contributed to mine. Even though I did not feel any discomfort, I had several biological dentists look at my root canal, and they all said there was infection under the tooth. I finally got it extracted and it was black underneath. No wonder I have had so much ear pain and congestion over the years. This taxes the immune system and leaves us vulnerable to chronic disease. And they have extracted teeth from women with breast cancer, and put them into mice, who all developed tumors. Root canals are not safe for anyone. Also, try oil pulling to clean up the bacteria in the mouth. Google it and you will see how this is beneficial. > > I worked for a dentist for 10 years, the antibiotic is really more for the > infection that will spread to the soft tissure, there is very little blood > supply to the tooth itself. Guest guest
It is not very painful at all. I can even chew with it with no problem but the gum is sensitive if I touch it with my tongue or a finger. It was worse last fall and then I took antibiotics and it sort of went away with only an occasional minor flare up. I have located a dentist that is about an hour or hour and a half away who removes amalgam fillings etc. but haven't contacted her. Hoping to put this off until July. > > I worked for a dentist for 10 years, the antibiotic is really more for the > infection that will spread to the soft tissure, there is very little blood > supply to the tooth itself. Guest guest
OK I'll consider the oil pulling along with everything else. Guest guest
That area of you gum could be holding the infection, may be why you have no pain with the tooth. Infection has to go somewhere out of the tooth or the tooth will throb something awful. I have seen some people develope a pocket to the side of the tooth. As long as it's draining somewhere you won't have pain in the tooth. Marilyn Absess tooth - suggestions please >> >> > >> >> > >> >> > >> >> > I just got home from the dentist. >> >> > >> >> > It seems that I have an abscess in the root of a molar that has a >> >> > gold crown on it. Guest guest
I was traveling once and had an abscessed tooth or rather by the tooth root—can't really recall, except it was horrendous pain, which suddenly wasn't there. What apparently happened was that the abscess built up and burst, spreading the infection far and wide and requiring far more than antibiotics. They did a procedure opening up a flap of skin and cleaning or rather, scrapping up the infection. Not fun, and did I swell. I don't frequently take antiboitics, but there is a place for them. That area of you gum could be holding the infection, may be why you have no pain with the tooth.
