Increased ALP liver levels in toddler due to iodine dosing?

Hello,

I have a 17 month old that I have been giving one drop of lugol's iodine,

probably once or twice a month(not often at all). He just had some bloodwork

done and his ALP liver levels and AST levels were high. Could the iodine at this

dosage cause his body to detox and possibly increase these?
