Guest guest
Yes, let's reiterate that: Stan-- Hashi's is NOT related to iodine overconsumption. That is a lie about iodine that is keeping people very sick. Have you read the New Member document that was sent to you when you joined? It is on the website, and it was just sent again to everyone on the list. You should be able to find it in your attachments folder within your email program, or if you read the list on the web, you can find it on the web. Iodine does NOT cause Hashi's. Lugol's was used to treat Hashi's for more than 100 years before the lies about iodine became the standard teaching in med schools in the 1950s or so. best wishes, -- At 10:10 PM 5/15/2011, you wrote: >Hashi's is related to iodine deficiency. > >Linn > > > > > > > > > > > > I have a sour pickle of a problem with Yeast/Candida/Thrush in my body. > > I was dxed with HC Leukemia some years ago, took the toxic chemo etc. > > In and out of remission with LDN and HGH helping support my immune > system. > > Occasionally folks are mis-dxed with Leukemia, when in fact it is a > > systemic yeast problem. > > Some weeks ago, I loaded up with anti yeast medication, diflucan, > > terbinafine and on and on. Guest guest
I believe if you have a specific candida infection, ie intestinal tract, crouch, throat/mouth, garlic oil and so many others pau d arco, etc etc etc. will help your immune sysem knock it back, however if the candida infection has gone to systemic, that is all parts of the body, ie blood, lungs etc. The medics have ten or fifteen script drugs that will help your immune system kill it back, then it must be treated weekly, but yeast candida will remain a problem. Notice it will help your immune system, it cannot do it alone. They have only one anti yeast medication and it must be administered IV over several days, five I think, that will kill the yeast. It is the burden of the immune system to control yeast, if your immune system is compromised in some way, most likely you will have yeast problems. Researchers are saying folks with auto immune disorders have an immune system that is equal to an elderly persons, ie yeast problems most often accompany the auto disease. The European community has developed immunization for candida, but I do not know how affective they may be or if they protect from all candidas. The only known " over the counter " method is iodoral, using a very strong mix over three weeks. Three tabs 4X a day. Which it is recommended to be followed up with a course of MMS. A Dr. Truss developed this protocol back in the fifties, when he discovered, what is called the " antibiotic syndrome " . Associated with antibiotics is the destruction of all good digestive bacteria, and of course yeast then has it's way. Rarely, if ever, are we told to proceed with probiotics after using antibiotics to restore our gut bacteria. Sadly, it is like a snowball rolling down a hill, antibiotics, loss of digestive bacteria, yeast/candida replaces it, which overburdens the immune system, more infections, more antibiotics, more yeast and you find yourself in front of the chemo salesman. Son, you got cancer, or some other horrible disease, and this is the only known fix. ouch, it happens everyday. It's almost like our AMA generates it's own revenue. . I mean the syndrome was noted fifty years ago, and everyday, thousands suffer from it.Food handlers now destroy all digestive enzymes on food stuffs to encourage longer shelf life, but what happens when we eat their mess, we have difficulty digesting it. So once again yeast/candida gets an edge. yucks. Perhaps Betaine HCL and digestive enzymes are more important today, then ever before. Heartburn is a sign you do not have suffecient hydrochloric acid to digest your food, so take Betaine HCL to help. Don't complain to your medics, they will sell you scripts of nexium, or other heartburn relief, which will destroy your ability to digest food and encourage yeast/candida.Using Dr. Truss's protocol be certain to take associated items, vitamin C, seasalt, magnesium, see the main page. stay vertical, david lubbock tx.
Guest guest
what kind of store-bought garlic oil? how much are you using? you have to take ALOT for any effect, I suggest 10 caps a day of 500 mg oil. You might want to start with 5 for the first 2 days and then go to 10 so you don't have any die-off effect. You probably bought some that only has 2 or 3 mg in each capsules - YOU NEED FAR MORE! Source Naturals has it in 500 mg caps that's what you need, anything lower in mg is a waste of time. You can't take too much it won't hurt anything but you'll need to ramp it up initially. Also, yes, the candida diet is extremely important and is key. NO SUGAR, or anything with sugar molecules in it such as fruit juice, milk etc. I couldn't even tolerate yogurt, it has lactose and I personally don't recommend it. Guest guest
I don't recommend powdered garlic or any other form but the oil - when they powder it or put it into tablets they deodorize it which takes out nearly all the allicin and renders it ineffective - allicin is what you need for the candida. I'm not saying garlic oil will CURE it, just that it will get rid of it for awhile and give you relief; I took it everyday and it helped alot. But I still had it until I went on thyroid meds. I would imagine adrenal fatigue would cause it as well. You need to find out waht's causing it in order to cure it. For many, hydrochloric acid will help as well and taking milk thistle to cleanse the liver is very important as well.Ariel On Tue, May 17, 2011 at 11:45 AM, Carol Palmer <carol_p@...> wrote:  I am having a terrible time getting rid of fungal overgrowth. Guest guest
I didn't know that Ariel, I will try the capsules. I have been using store bought garlic oil infused olive oil topically until recently, when I started ingesting a clove of fresh garlic daily. It hasn't helped very much, but I think I see why now. I found out I was gluten intolerant recently, so for the past few weeks, I have been on a gluten free diet, but it's very difficult. I didn't know about the sugar free part either, I will try that although giving up fruits and fruit juice will be hard. Thanks for your advice. Stan In a message dated 5/17/2011 11:53:01 A.M. Guest guest
KC - I've had this yeast infection now for about 4 years, and it waxes and wanes, but the worst part is the itching in the middle of the night waking you up from a sound sleep. I hate it. I'm still experimenting along those lines, trying to find a natural way to get rid of the infection, but it looks like until I deal with the hypothyroidisim, it'll be a difficult battle. But I have to first treat the adrenal insufficiency to get to the thyroid and that's been a real challenge for me, trying to figure out how to do that in a gentle way. Thanks for the references, I have a lot of reading to do obviosuly if I can get past my brain fog and tiredness. Stan In a message dated 5/17/2011 8:03:02 P.M. Eastern Daylight Time, kep-at-home@... writes: Hi Stan,How long have you had the infection? I think that might be important. I had candida for 2 years, so it was very hard to fight. I bought that ebook and one from the Summers. The one was much more comprehensive although I wouldn't say the Summers one wasn't helpful at all. But I wouldn't consider them a "cure." They just give you more tools in your toolbox to fight this. If the infection is long standing, it can be very hard to get rid of. I tried so many things like I said, that it would be hard to mention them all. Get books, do research, and try a lot of different approaches. Of course, everyone says the diet is important. I wouldn't completely cut out carbs (because I think going into ketosis is dangerous), but definitely restricting your carbs and choosing wisely is important. I would recommend "The Maker's Diet" as shown in "Patient Heal Thyself" by Jordan Rubin. There are a lot of different versions of the anti-candida diet if you search on it or read one of those ebooks. There are different thoughts about what is and isn't allowed but avoiding sugar in ANY form is huge. I found beer is a big trigger as well. Some of the supplements I tried was garlic tablets, caprylic acid, homemade herbal tea concoctions (anti fungal, immune building herbs, etc.), herbal yeast infection tinctures, humaworm candida pills, collostrum, etc. Also, I tried to get lots of good probiotics from pills, homemade cultured veggies and homemade kombucha, high quality goat's milk yogurt, etc. I ate raw garlic for a while. I think you have to be patient and try a lot and be desperate enough to make big changes.KC>> I am using regular store bought garlic oil topically and consuming 1 clove> fresh garlic daily but after 2 weeks, it has done nothing for the infection.> I was wondering what your experience with it was if you had used it. Carol Re: Iodine Yeast/Candida Posted by: " Thurlby-fishkin" rightbrainsmart777@... rightbrainsmart777 Mon May 16, 2011 9:00 pm (PDT) I just came upon this article...seems like an interesting article on yeast infections.. .studies etc...I have had fungal overgrowth for awhile now due to antibiotics. ..especially in Sept when getting rid of H Pylori. After the antibiotics, I went on a yeast free diet...and after breast cancer surgery again went on the yeast free diet with anti-fungal meds. After a year of probiotics, and dealing with the yeast problem my thyroid auto immune disease ... hashiminto, which was 1100, went down to 49. I believe that when I dealt with the root problem of autoimmune disease (fungal) that it also lowered the thyroid anti-bodies. This helped me. I have a sour pickle of a problem with Yeast/Candida/ Thrush in my body.I was dxed with HC Leukemia some years ago, took the toxic chemo etc.In and out of remission with LDN and HGH helping support my immune system. Occasionally folks are mis-dxed with Leukemia, when in fact it is a systemic yeast problem. Some weeks ago, I loaded up with anti yeast medication, diflucan, terbinafine and on and on. Then began using Betaine HCL, hydrochloric acid, digestive enzymes, kefir, low carb and little sweets to keep yeast down. All went well for about three months, and here I am again running down quickly, low energy. No symptoms of yeast but, I load up with sporanax, max dosage 400mgs for the last two days, presto, I feel the buzz of doing well again.I am currently taking about 70mgs of iodine and will work up to hundred. With associated vitamins/minerals, for a couple weeks now. My ponder is, how much iodine must I take on a continous basis, to have a positive affect against my yeast problem?david lubbbock tx. -- "Throughout much of the world, most people are busy being boring."-Tom Donohue
Guest guest
Thanks for the link Bonnie. It has a lot of good information on there. I copied this : 4. Concentrated antioxidants and various plant phytonutrients, such as trans-resveratrol, lutein, astaxanthin and many others are also known to be active against fungal growth, as are general foundational concentrates such as aloe vera and fish oil. 5. Some anti-fungals, such as tea tree oil, are not to be taken by mouth, but are excellent for topical applications. Has anyone tried topical tea tree oil? MOST IMPORTANTLY, you need to find out waht is causing it and cure that!ArielOn Tue, May 17, 2011 at 7:18 AM, S. Guest guest
Anne Picker, thank you for your suggestion, I shall not eat sweets. I do like your tv program. But the absolute great news is taking two hundred mgs of iodine has been my best move, perhaps ever. I am ninety percent through my best day in several years, hexheimer kicked my butt for the first four days, I was in the pitts, had to increase my seasalt to half teaspoon twice a day because of cramps. They were god aweful, thought I was gonna have to visit the emergency room, but endured while the extra salt kicked in. The salt water felt like a nostril full of coke. , what a soothing it brought me. But I do believe the iodine protocol is working on killing the yeast/candida off I super socialized today, mood is in the clouds, energy level is way up, awesome. Whereas people was just tolerated with my sour mood afore. stay vertical, david lubbock tx.

Truss's protocol be certain to take associated items, vitamin C, seasalt, magnesium, see the main page.stay vertical, david lubbock tx. Guest guest
Anne Thanks for the correction, my arithmetic is not good. So it’s either 150mg or 600mg. Isn’t that a little excessive? Guest guest
FWIW, many years ago I had what I believe was a systemic yeast infection. I cut out all sugars, breads, carbs, processed foods, dairy, foods containing yeast, and aged foods like wine...very sad losing that wine. Basically I ate only protein, fat and vegetables. I also started taking caprylic acid which aggressively cleans the bowels. I also added probiotics. I did this for about 6 weeks and haven't had a problem since..
