They're normal detox symptoms Glynis, drink as much water as possible.  You'll feel so much better by day 3 :)

Hi all, I've just started a gluten free diet but I think I'm getting withdrawal symptoms!! Has anyone else had any problems when they've cut out gluten? Nothing major just headaches and feeling a bit under the weather. I'm hoping it won't last too long anyway.

hi Glynis - sometimes if you are gluten sensitive you are not absorbing nutrients etc and this can include thyroid meds - so when you strart absorbing better you actually need a lower dose - could it be this? otherwise withdrawal would seem possible to me - maybe sugars in the baked products or even low blood sugar because you arent eating enough carbs on the new diet?Im much better for being gluten free but am diagnosed with a gluten sensitivity and gliadin antibodies - more i learn about it the more I wonder if we were intended to eat wheat etc.GillFrom: glynisrose06 <arianrhod@...>Subject: Gluten free

Hi Glynis

Yes I went gluten free last November and felt some slight chest pains and under

the weather but it soon passed, I think you will feel a benefit soon, I have

also lost a teeny bit of weight but went lacto free in last couple of months as

well.

Hope you soon feel even better.

Luv Stephie
