Guest guest
Hi everyone, I'm new here but, I noticed or maybe I just have not read as of yet, anything pertaining to Dr. from the Women's health institute of Texas...I bought my iodine from him, they come in tablets at 12.5 mg a piece they also contain selenium and a b vitamin. Is it that many not heard of him? or is there something that I should know that isn't good? Gods blessings to all

Guest guest
Ingredients Iodine – 5 mg Potassium Iodide – 7.5 mg Selenium – 15 mcg Vitamin B2 (Riboflavin) – 15 mg This compares to iodoral for iodine/iodide. There is not enough B vitamin or selenium to count though so supplement both. No worries on using this as a substitute for iodoral as this is same one that I got for a neighbor. More expensive than iodoral old prices were but less than recent prices. Guest guest
Well it is very high priced compared to Iodoral at www.breastcancerchoices. They have 12.5 mg tablets (180 / bottle - 19 cents / tablet) for $34.99 and the product below http://www.1-thyroid.com/order.htm is $25.95 / 60 tablets (.43 cents / tablet). The selenium at 15 mcg is pathetically low. Recommended amounts are 200 - 400 mcg. There are 15 mgs of B2. Dr. Abraham has formulated a product called ATP CoFactors that is something that can be added to the iodine protocol with the following of B2 & B3 http://www.breastcancerchoices.org/atpinfo.html I think it is overpriced for what it is. Biotics Research has a product is .28 cents / tablet http://www.myvits.com/product/52c6dc04-7879-4080-9297-aadc3f21f028.aspx Buist, ND wondering why... Guest guest
This is the product called Iodine plus that's been mentioned a few times here recently. I started with this product too as his was the first site I'd found which discussed iodine re: thyroid function etc. The reason I moved away from this product was due to cost. By my calculations I used 8 tablets a day as his instructions suggested I work up to, from a bottle of 60 which cost about $20 at best price (5 bottles for $99) for hence it would be used up in 37 days.. that's quite a price difference from $10 for Lugols 2%. I will say this however, I never had one issue I noticed about detox symptoms which at 50mg Lugols are pretty extreme for me even with all the accompanying supplements. The Iodine plus product included a couple of these, nothing about salt or C or magnesium yet I had no detox symptoms so perhaps I wasn't digesting them well. I found mental clarity returning first, then some energy ...I'd likely have stuck with them if not for the price. The ingredients in the Iodine plus 2 formula are: Iodine – 5 mgPotassium Iodide – 7.5 mgSelenium – 15 mcgVitamin B2 (Riboflavin) – 15 mg Val in OC
