Guest guest
Hi everyone, I'm hoping someone can help me figure out what is causing my debilitating disease.....besides my cancer. I have chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL), stage 1 and the fatigue is overwhelming. My oncologist does not think the fatigue is caused by the cancer. So, I have been on the candida diet and tested negative for candida. My cortisol levels (adrenal function) are in the normal range. My thyroid tests have been normal. I have cut out gluten, diary and sugar out of my diet......and I now take Low Dose Naltrexone (LDN). All of these measures have not helped the fatigue even a little bit. However, I still am suspicious of my thyroid, even though all levels are normal because I have gained weight and am literally eating very little and work out everyday with what little energy I do have. Additionally, I am frequently cold and have developed eczema and noticed small hair loss. Could I have an iodine deficiency even though my thyroid levels are normal?? I have tried to find the colored iodine to self test, but the stores only have the clear iodine. Any thoughts or advice what to do next? This fatigue has made my life miserable......
