Guest guest
Today I went to the Dr.s office for a school physical for my son and I decided to have a checkup for my 6 month old just so if anything ever came up, it can't be said that she was never seen. I was really in the mood to do this because I am at a point where I feel strong enough to just say NO to any objections the medical field may give me regarding my choices with shots. Anyway, the Dr. we saw was SOOOOOO SUPER!!!!!!! She is young and very nice and was SOOO respectful of my choice and I explained my views and she was just GREAT about it all. She asked me if I was aware of some of the " safer " shots like IPV and I told her that I have spent the last 9 years researching all of it and that nothing has changed nor will change my mind about vaccinating. Period. I have never had such a respectful conversation with a DR. before in my life regarding my choice to not vaccinate! I am writing her a note letting her know that I appreciate her respecting my views, that it doesn't happen a lot and that she is an asset to that clinic she is at. She is only going to be at this clinic until July and I am going to find out where she is headed next incase anyone on the list needs a wonderful person to see! She came from Buffalo, NY before moving to Cape Cod. Two thumbs up for this woman!!!
