Guest guest
Hello to all! Thanks so much for all the info about chickenpox. I've come to decide that what my dd has is not cp, because it never formed into the blister stage and it's been 4 days. The bumps looked like the start of cp on Sunday (according to several ladies at church), but one told me yesterday that they should have turned into a blister and scabbed by now. The bumps she has are just going away like a pimple or bug bite will disappear. It seems too coincidental, but apparently she hasn't gotten cp " yet " ! She still may have them in a couple days....who knows! Cyndy NC
Guest guest
Do you live in an area that has mites? These creatures burrow into the skin (not under, but the inflamation they cause kind of buries them) and can have a raised pimple like appearance - harder than a mosquito bite. > Hello to all! > > Thanks so much for all the info about chickenpox. Guest guest
, has she had any other symptoms at all? slight fever? if so, for how long?..sleeping more or less?..appetite change? is she itching from the spots? i know she's young yet but my 19 mth old scratches if she has an itch soo just wondering...we went through Rubella here in Dec..but when you're speaking of bumps it could be a variation of the measles from rubella to fifths disease to who knows what... you have to really take note of anything that would be considered a symptom..and even think back to a few weeks back if she had any form of runny nose or what seemed like a cold..because they can all tie in to what she may have..thats why some people never really knwo what they had as kids because it's difficult to pinpoint..also take note of where the spots are, where they atrted and whatnot... kidshealth.org i think if i remember correctly has some good info when it comes to childrens illnesses..(NOT so much for the vacc parts:) i know right now im tryign to figure out if my daughter Quinn is just runnign a fever from teethign or WHAT since ive noticed her slightly coughing last 2 days..THING is she fake coughs a lot(STUPID thing i taught her to do..remind me not to do that AGAIN!) Guest guest
She did have diarrhea and runny nose for a couple days about 2 weeks ago. Then her molar was coming in as well, but the diarrhea was excessive for just a tooth. Her runny nose is just going away. I'll probably never know for sure what it was. Guest guest
Now she has one extra thing to worry about On the lighter side ... There was this very short guy who had a complex about his shortness and goes to get help. Psychaitrist has him on couch, and is telling him about all these extremely successful short men in the world (Napolean, Hitler, other rich industrailists etc) who did not see it as a handicap. So now he has 2 complexes 1. he is short 2. he is not successful. > > Hello to all! > > > > Thanks so much for all the info about chickenpox. Guest guest
I meant chiggers, not mites. Sorry! My husband just corrected me. My kids had these raised things last year that looked like mosquito bites but lasted forever. Where I grew up in OH, there were not chiggers, so I didn't know about them. > > > Hello to all! > > > > > > Thanks so much for all the info about chickenpox.
