I would let them know that it was against my civil rights to ask about my religious beliefs... I would look to the exemption law in your state for the wording that I would use for the letter that I write to the school... When you use their wording there is no chance of their rejection of the exemption letter... They are not permitted to ask about your religion.... That is your business.. There have been far too many instances where people are discriminated against due to their religion, national origin, race, color or creed..... Use that in your statements to avoid the further inquiry...
