tte, thank you for sharing that. I believe I will look a classical

homeopath up so I can get a constitutional remedy. I know I could use some

extra energy.

I know this is preaching to the choir, but please indulge me --

--homeopathy cured my cat of a mysterious, wasting illness that looked to be

fatal

--cured me of a five-year case of ringworm picked up in SE Asia (no MD had

been able to do so)

--made my baby's croup disappear in about 3 minutes

--through constitutional treatment, has dramatically improved my energy

level, made knee and back pain disappear, and put an end to mild depression

on more than one occasion.

As for the " placebo effect " -- in addition to my experiences with cats and

babies, I have most definitely noticed that if you take the wrong remedy,

nothing happens. If I am such a gullible fool, then why did the first two

remedies my doctor prescribed have precisely no effect? Then, with the

third remedy, profound changes began to occur. I have had this experience

many times when treating myself and my family.

I've tried other types of alternative therapy, and have never had such

incredible success as with homeopathy. I believe herbal medicine can be

effective, but it can be hard to find quality herbs and it can take a long

time to take effect. I'm pretty skeptical, and I've found that this is one

healing system that truly heals.

I recommend homeopathy to people constantly, and they smile and nod at me as

if I am a well-meaning nut. It is frustrating -- if only more people had

access, a world of misery could be alleviated...

Phyllis,

Some time back, before you were on this list, Sheri posted the testimony

of a woman whose son had autism, improved with the elimination of dairy,

though that was his main craving (maybe wheat too, I don't remember as it

was some time ago), and was cured with M doses of carcinocum (I think that's

what it was called. It was a remedy based on cancerous breast tissue.) The

woman then went on to study homeopathy herself. I think she was from

California.

So my question is...is that woman you?

~Cheryl, who thinks it's very cool to contect people with their stories!

Since pharmaceutical drugs also have a proven placebo effect of 70%,

I would have thought that any increase on that without toxic side-

effects - or even the same would be cause for celebration. Obviously

not.

Dear Cheryl,

This is " NOT ME " ... I did not change my child's diet... His father felt

that any changes to the diet were " stupid...costly.... ridiculous......

If he wants to eat ice cream or cake or milk...just give it to him...

Everyone need MILK to grow! " , was he statement.... I have used

Carcinosinum for other children who are autistic that are in my practice....

I never needed it for my son.... BTW it was " LM " potencies of Carcinosinum

that were used for this little boy, ...I believe was his name... I

also found this story on the internet about 4 to 5 years ago when I first

purchased my computer... My oldest son was looking for homeopathic links

for me... He asked me for remedy names and the one that I had written down

was " Carcinosinum " ....

Thanks for asking,

Phyllis
