Moderator) --------------------------------- Global Fund for Aids, Tuberculosis & Malaria Feedback Questionnaire The Global Fund is in the final stages of preparation, a task entrusted to a 'Transitional Working Group' (TWG) (see previous BTS postings for further information). In the time that remains between now and when the Fund will become operational towards the end of this year, the TWG is holding a series of consultations with various stakeholders in order to design the Fund so that it maximises the benefit of this new financing mechanism. This message contains a short set of questions as part of this preparation process. During the course of the next few days, BTS shall distribute a number of documents describing the principles, purposes and scope of the Fund, and a short note about how the Fund might be organised at the country level. We would like to get your opinion on some important issues related to the set-up of the Fund. Your opinions will be channelled to the TWG, who will ultimately use them as inputs in their final decision-making about how the Fund will be most useful. Please press the REPLY option on your e-mail, and answer as many of the following questions as openly as you can. Then send your responses by email as soon as possible to: E-mail: gfatm@h... If you do not have any suggestions in response to a specific question, just leave it blank. Your participation and ideas are much appreciated.
