To be perfectly honest , I don't think it's ringworm. Ringworm is named that

because of the distinct ring looking marks it makes .. and it would be very

uncomfortable

Sheri, I have had a rash (red and sometimes itchy and sometimes scaly)

on my one elbow for about 15 years! I used to put cortisone cream

(yuck, don't do that anymore!) on it, which only worked if I kept

aplying it.

Is this some sort of disturbance my body is trying to get rid of? I

thought it was probably an allergy to something.

is it raised? Sounds like MAYBE ringworm. Paint it with gentian violet. Any

of the Athlete's Foot products will work also. Be warned, Gentian Violet

will stain. But paint it on and let her go shirtless or at least have that

area exposed to the sunlight and it will get gone fast.

it is about 4 " x 2 " on my left elbow

No it isnt raised....could she have got this from daycare? Where do I get

Gentian Violet from?

This kind of list still amazes me! You have a problem, you post about it and

Well, its considered to be contagious but I don't always buy into that -

its fungal.

I had ringworm once and it never itched.

I know most say it itches.

She did say it mad a ring around the child's belly button.

I dont think it is ringworm either. I have checked the pics on that site from

Zoonana (ty btw and I have added it to my favs.) and it is not like it. The mark

is very faint and like a watermark. Maybe it will develop into ringworm......Ill

keep an eye on it.

to be - if it starts spreading or getting worse, contact the homeopath.

Not a good idea to supress with athlete's foot products or gentian violet

or anything. YOu are not doing the body any favors. What is there needs

to come out and that is the route it has taken. If it doesn't resolve on

its own have a homeopath assist the vital force to express it.

Nope, it isnt like that , only similarity is the circular shape.......it is VERY

faint, slightly darker pink than the rest of her tummy, smooth to touch, no

bumps,it is over and around the belly button,no scaling or anything at all, just

this faint mark!

toxin build up, nerves (toxins). I know mine is worse when I do not eat

right, am under lots of stress.

Exposure to sunlight (vit D) Helps. Taking vit a & d or cod liver oil is great

for this.

I have it and my Daddy was covered in it.

irritation from panties or something. I don't know, but what she's

Psoriasis is minimal in my experience if left untreated by doctors. As I

said, I have it and its on my face and no one but my close family knows as

it does not break out unless I do not eat right, etc. It is in my hair too.

I feel that this supports your theory of something on the inside my body is

trying to get rid of so it comes out through the skin.

My Daddy had his treated by doctors. Ugly stuff.

My friend's son was allergic to the metal snaps and it was similiar to

ringworm...is this possible? My daughter was also diagnosed with ringworm

and it sounded like what your child has. It was on the crease on the back

of her knee and left alone it looked more like exzema. We took her to

homeopath as this is something I wanted to do fer her and her future

generations. Please consult one...it didn't bother her(she was 1 yr.) and
