And you have to not just look at the risk if you get tetanus - but the

actually likelihood that you could get tetanus.

These are 2 different risks.

And you have to look at your child and your family history - immune system

problems, allergies, asthma, hyperactivity, diabetes, etc???? Children in

those families may be more likely to react severely - but can't say this

definitely.

Just because there is a cut doesn't mean there is tetanus

Just because there is tetanus doesn't mean you die or are hospitalized.

And we don't even know if there is such a thing as tetanus in humans, I

dare say, as there is no diagnostic test to show that a person does have

it. It is diagnosed on symptoms alone What other things in the world can

cause those symptoms - insect/snake venoms? poisonings from chemicals?

You just have to weigh the actual risk (not the results, but the risk) out

there in the world to your child in your realm and what other options you

use for health care (ie homeoapthy).

And does the vaccine even work? I get reports of people who decide to just

do the tetanus vax and eventually have titres done and there are NO titres

meaning (in the medical world), no immunity.

This whole thing is very strange as you cannot develop immunity to tetanus

as far as I know if you get it naturally.

My thougts are that no one has a clue about what htis thing is called

tetanus. We are operating on ideas from nearly 75 years ago when the

vaccine was developed.

You really have to decide whether you are going to buy into this whole

theory (and believe me it is only a theory) about vaccines and that they

work and that they know how they work. They don't have a clue.

If they came out with a vaccine for children being hit by cars tomorrow,

would you get it? You could look at it and see that say 5000 children are

hit by cars every year. You could see that the vaccine maybe harms 300

children every year. So you choose to get the vaccine for car accidents?

It is not much different. Just because there is a vaccine and there

supposedly is a disease, do you need to worry about the disease and get the

vaccine? I don't know if that comes across.

What if there was no vaccine for tetanus like there is no vaccine for so

many things? Would you be agonizing over this?

I'm using everything I know about every vaccine, the body, health and

illness to determine that tetanus dangers are way over exaggerated. Living

next to Tijuana and seeing NONE in the pediatric ICU in the 3 years I

worked there, certainly tells me something too. You think all those

children living in cardboard boxes (yes, they do) have been vaccinated

completely or at all for tetanus? Are they mroe at risk than your child?

Sorry if someone has already asked this, but, if you can't get immunity from

catching the disease naturally......how the heck can you get immunity from the

vaccine?!?!?!??!?!?!?!???!??!??!
