Wow do I feel like a neglectful Mommy?!

Hearing all the concern about fevers - eeek - whenever Mitch has had a fever (both times due to his teething) I didn't check his temperature at all - his eyes get real bright, he is very warm, flushed and only wants his water bottle. He napped a lot, but was fussy during the night so was brought to sleep with us until his fever broke, then back into his crib (he sleeps like his mom - there isn't a bed big enough for us) - I now feel unsure about not checking his fever - obviously he's fine - but maybe I'll be investing in a thermometer (have one - but think its buggered)
