I completely agree with you Sheri,

Too many scare tactics and because shots have been there for quite some time

the present parents just think of them as part of their lives.

Single shots?

My daughter got hurt by a single shot.

I thought she would be better able to handle it singled out but it can

always happen, the shots are just too toxic.

And why take the risk for something that really is not at all bad?

I am beginning to believe we have been fed alot of bull, Sheri.....

I am one of many who are meeting up with people like you who give us this 'new' (to us anyway) type of information. I am sure I am not the only parent right now who is just discovering the alternatives to vaccines and other ways in which we can help care for our babies when they are ill.

The thing is, I am willing and able to learn from people like you Sheri.

I and others listen to what you have to say and alot of it makes sense but in the back of the mind, (you know, the 'herd mentality' one?!) it is so hard to escape what we have come to know as the best and safest way of doing things.....it is difficult to change but can be achieved. It is VERY unsettling to come to realise that alot of what we know to be safe and 'the best' , actually isn't and is probably 'the worst' !!!

It just takes time....

A little patience and understanding from others is needed too....

This is a facinating group to belong to and I find myself wanting to ask so much!! LOL

I know how hard it is - imagine me, a nurse, having to look at this after

being steeped in it. But thank goodness I am old enough to be able to see

the past and the present and evaluate. You cannot. You have to go on

other people's information.

Yes measles can be potentially dangerous. So can the flu. So can a cold.

So can driving a car. So can lightening. So can riding a train in the UK.

So can everything. You have to weigh it all without the hype. Of course

we can't avoid everything toxic, but we can pick and choose.

Hang in there and keep listening.

Try to find an intro to homeopathy workshop - my new homeoapthy in

Abergavenny teaches one at the local college. I will be teaching some in

the future up in Brecon area. That way you have something you can easily

use. Find yourself a quality homeopath in Wales.

Classical homeopaths on this list - difficult because it is just a list of

names. But find some in your area and then ask around to see if people

know them. Call them, talk to them. Read my article

have help if something is out of your expertise.

Vitamin A is extremely important especially during measeles or before and

after the vaccine if someone gets it! Extremely important. Vitamin C also

is extremely important - NONE of us get enough of that. Vitamin A in cod

liver oil ( a little problematic as not available organic as far as I know

and fish livers can have contamination - weigh the risks), Vitamin C - lots

of sources, but supplemention probably necessary to get the amounts needed

(way more than what they say in recommended gov't pamphlets).

Keep learning from all these wonderful moms on this list and the docs and

the homeopaths. Sometimes we get a little short and abrupt and please call

us on it and excuse and forgive us. We have been working with this issue

for many years and sometimes just get frustrated but know that all of you

are at different stages with this. Try not to take personally. Keep seeking.

Well, I fantasize about those moments but with a 4 yr old,a very active and curious and destructive 3 and 1 yr. old, cuddling will be next to impossible unless the 13 yr. old stays home!

I am so sorry to hear your daughter was hurt by a single vax....

Another reason for me to seriously consider no vaxing my lil one any more....

Unfortunately, others still want to vax so it makes sense to help find the 'safest' strains etc. for them to have....
